I knew something was coming when Morrissey signed up for a Twitter account. Boy was I right. The former Smiths frontman previewed some songs from his upcoming 11th solo album Low in High School, at BBC’s Radio 6 Music Live in-studio series.

Moz debuted “I Wish You Lonely”,“Home Is a Question Mark”, “Jacky’s Always Happy When She’s Up on the Stage”, and the title which made me do a double take, “When You Open Your Legs” (Morrissey joked that it’s actually about cycling.) SUUURE…

He also performed some older material, a cover of The Pretenders’ “Back on the Chain Gang” and offered his political views for everyone to hear.

You can listen to the full session here beginning at the two-hour mark. Morrissey also has a run of US dates scheduled for this fall, but we’ll see if he actually goes through with that.

Hear the whole thing HERE, starting at about the 2-hour mark. Good stuff…
