One could argue that music is so vast, that somewhere, someone is bound to come across identical chord progressions other bands/artists have already written. So it’s no surprise in recent years, copyright infringment cases are rampant in the industry. That seems to be the case with a new song by Lana Del Rey called, “Get Free.”  Radiohead is accusing Lana Del Rey of “ripping off” their hit song “Creep.”

Right now there is no litigation, as the artists are trying to settle the matter behind the scenes.

According to The Sun, “It’s understood that Radiohead’s team are hoping for the band to either receive compensation or be credited on the list of songwriters to receive royalties.”

What do you think?
