Take this with a grain of salt however, because the study was conducted by O2, a massive music and entertainment venue, who is using their research to sell concert tickets. That said, here are how the numbers break down:
-Spending about 20 minutes at a show can increase your feelings of well-being by at least 21%.
-Participants in the study had a 25% increase in feelings of self-worth and closeness to others, and a 75% increase in mental stimulation.
-The study also claims that attending a performance every two weeks would be most beneficial, and that there is a correlation between “high levels of well-being and a lifespan increase of nine years.”
