This is not a drill. Monopoly has capitalized on using pop culture to revamp its game in the past, and this is no exception. The Epic Games and Hasbro collab features rules to mimic the in-game rules of Fortnite, as well as characters from the game. There however will be no currency; instead players receive hit points to determine the winner, and just like the video game, the last player standing will win.
Properties will be Battle Royale map locations and the community/chance chests will be replaced with launch pads and spike traps.
The creator of Fortnite and creative Director of Epic Games Donald Mustard shared the news on Twitter.
