Eric Wilson, Sublime with Rome bassist and founding member of Sublime, was seriously injured in an ATV accident on his avocado ranch in California on Thursday, April 4.

According to TMZ and Wilson’s manager, he sustained a broken arm and four broken ribs. While working on the ranch, his ATV rolled over and crushed him.

Rescuers rushed Wilson to a hospital near San Diego and he underwent five hours of surgery. He is still recovering, and expects to be released this week.
